Rooted Bodywork & Lymphatics is a therapeutic massage practice dedicated to personalized, results-driven care. Founded by Ava Barwick, a Licensed Massage Therapist with over 11 years of experience, the practice blends medical knowledge with a deeply intuitive touch. Ava began her career in a medical massage clinic in Arizona, where she spent seven years honing her skills in clinical bodywork before relocating to Charlotte, NC in 2022. Since then, she has continued to offer a thoughtful blend of medical and spa modalities tailored to each client's unique needs.
In January 2025, Ava became a Certified Lymphedema Therapist (CLT), a milestone deeply rooted in her own healing journey. After being diagnosed with breast cancer, she experienced firsthand the physical and emotional challenges that come with recovery. That personal experience ignited a passion to support others navigating similar paths, and inspired her to specialize in lymphatic care. At Rooted Bodywork & Lymphatics, every session is crafted with empathy, intention, and a deep understanding that healing is never one-size-fits-all. Whether you’re recovering from surgery, living with chronic pain, or simply seeking space to breathe and restore, Ava is comitted to helping you uncover the root of your discomfort and support your body's natural healing process.
